MAGISTRATES COURT

The Magistrates Court deals with minor and less serious criminal offences ranging from minor road traffic offences to more serious matters such as assault. Many of these offences are dealt with summarily by a District Judge sitting alone but in some cases you can elect to have the matter tried in the Crown Court before a Jury. If you find yourself on the wrong end of the law we can advise you from beginning to end and achieve the best outcome for you. For the past 25 years we have represented clients in all sorts of criminal cases involving a broad range of criminal offences. When your case is complex and specialism is required we have access to experienced Criminal Law Barristers who specialize in Criminal Defence.

CROWN COURT

The Crown Court deals with more serious criminal matters and hearings normally take place in front of a Jury who ultimately determine innocence or guilt. The criminal courts often deal with complex and serious criminal cases and expert advice and guidance is required to achieve the best possible outcome where one's liberty can be at stake. In tandem with experienced Criminal Law Barristers we can guide you through the case every step of the way. We will thoroughly assess and test the prosecution evidence and prepare the best defence possible in your case. We will keep you fully informed throughout as to the options available and the potential outcomes so as to enable you to make fully informed decisions when required.

LEGAL AID

Legal Aid is often available in the criminal courts depending on your financial circumstances and the seriousness of the charges that you face. We can advise you early on in the case if you are eligible and if you are then we will apply for legal aid on your behalf.
